Last Updated 27 September 2018, 12:34 IST

Karnataka Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy is at it again. Ignoring constant criticism by the BJP, regarding his temple-hopping spree, Kumaraswamy, on Thursday morning, flew to Tamil Nadu to visit a popular temple there.

Kumaraswamy went to the Murugan temple at Thiruchendur, in Thoothukudi district, along with his wife Anitha and son Nikhil.

Interestingly, there was no official communication about this latest temple visit. Kumaraswamy is said to have boarded a special flight from HAL airport at around 8.30 am, Thursday.

Kumaraswamy, who has been frequenting temples, since he took over as Chief Minister on May 23, performed a special puja at the Sharadamba temple at Sringeri in Chikkamagalur, barely five days ago (September 22).

Upon his arrival in TN, Kumaraswamy told reporters that his government was stable and that there was no threat to it.

"There are no differences between Congress and JD(S). This is nothing but negative campaigning by the BJP. There is no danger to the coalition government. The government is stable," he reiterated. Kumaraswamy is expected to return to Bengaluru later on Thursday.
