Miscreants have stolen money from the offering box of Gramadevathe Doddamma Thayi Temple on Tuesday night.
The temple was inaugurated only ten days ago.
The thieves had covered their faces with a cloth to conceal their identity.
The footage of them carrying the two offering boxes from the temple and breaking them open to steal money has been captured on the CCTV cameras.
A case has been filed in Kushalnagar rural police station.
A special team has been formed under the leadership of Station House Officer Shivashankar to nab the thieves.
