Moderate rains in Shivamogga, Dakshina Kannada dists

Moderate to heavy rains continued to lash Shimvaogga district on Tuesday.
Thirthahalli received heavy rains intermittently throughout the day. It rained in the taluk for hours together in the morning. Hosanagar also received good spell of rains.

Bhadravathi and parts of Shivamogga received good rains towards the evening. Moderate rains lashed Shikaripur and Sorab.

Water level in Linganamakki dam rose to 1,791.75 feet against the maximum
of 1,819 feet.

Intermittent rain lashed Dakshina Kannada district. Mangaluru received good rainfall for an hour in the morning. In the last 24 hours, Sullia received 22 mm rainfall, followed by Mangaluru—17 mm and Puttur—16 mm.

On the other hand, Kodagu received an average of 5.8 mm rainfall. The water level in Harangi reservoir stood at 2,856.85 feet.

There were reports of moderate rain in Dharwad, Uttara Kannada, Haveri and Gadag districts. While the Almatti reservoir is full, Tungabhadra dam had water up to 1,617.91 feet against the maximum
of 1,633 feet.
