Muslims not against Ram Mandir: Zameer

Food and Civil Supplies Minister Zameer Ahmed Khan said on Wednesday that Muslims were not against the construction of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.

Participating in a campaign meeting in Hunsur, Zameer said, "Hindus and Muslims lived in harmony during the pre-independence and even after that. It was BJP, which had created an issue out of Ram Mandir. Why was it not possible for the Prime Minister Narendra Modi to construct the temple at Ayodhya during his five-year term. He does not want to settle the issue and wants to keep it alive for vote bank" he claimed.
