Medical: Option entry for 2nd round of seat allotment

Bengaluru: Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) on Thursday opened the link for the second round of option entry for medical and dental seats.

After getting the seat matrix released by the government, 84 medical seats and 13 dental seats, which are surrendered under all India quota, the medical, dental seats surrendered or cancelled, are also offered in the second round seat allotment.

College-wise, category-wise and course-wise seats, have been hosted and the aspirants are allowed to do the option entry till 7.00 pm of August 10. The eligible candidates can log on to KEA website by using their individual students login and prioritise their options for second round seat allotment.

“The candidates who gets allotted medical or dental seat in the second round will not be permitted for allotment of engineering etc seats in the engineering allotment. Therefore, the candidates who are participating in the second round for medical and dental courses are informed to give their options to the course which they are interested to join,” a senior KEA official told DH.
