<p class="title">Deputy Chief Minister G Parameshwara on Thursday resigned as the Member of Legislative Council (MLC). </p>.<p class="bodytext">He had won from Koratagere assembly constituency in the recently held Assembly election. Parameshwara submitted his resignation letter to legislative council Chairman D H Shankarmurthy.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Parameshwara still holds the post of State Congress president.</p>.<p class="bodytext">On Wednesday, Parameshwara sworn-in as deputy chief minister along with chief minister H D Kumaraswamy. </p>
