Rain fury: Mangaluru trains cancelled, short-terminated

Following flooding of rail tracks in Kerala, train services from Mangaluru were affected on Friday.

A release from Palakkad Railway division said that Train No 16860 Mangalore – Chennai Egmore Express of Friday is fully cancelled.

Train No 16605 Mangalore Central – Nagercoil Jn Ernad Express is fully cancelled.

Train No 16649 Mangalore – Nagercoil Express of is fully cancelled.

Train No. 22609 Mangalore - Coimbatore Express is fully cancelled.

Train No 12081 Kannur – Trivandrum Jan shabadhi Express is fully cancelled.

Train No.16308 Kannur – Alleppey Express is fully cancelled.

Meanwhile, Train No.12432 Hazrat Nizamuddin-Thiruvananthapuram Rajdhani Express that left Hazrat Nizamuddin on August 14 is short terminated at Kozhikkode.

Train No12618 Nizamuddin – Eranakulam Express will be short terminated at Kozhikkode.

Train No 16345 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus - Trivandrum Netravathi Express may be short terminated at Kozhikkode.

The rail track between Kuttipuram and Pallipuram is not operational (in Kozhikode - Shoranur section).
