Union Minister for Chemicals and Fertilisers, Statistics and Programme Implementation D V Sadananda Gowda alleged that there is a conspiracy by former CM Siddaramaiah in attempting to destabilise the coalition government in Karnataka.

Speaking to media in Mangaluru on Saturday, he said there is infight in the Congress party. The Congress has converted state politics into a dirty politics. Siddaramaiah is not allowing CM H D Kumaraswamy to discharge his duties. Through his (Siddaramaiah) followers, he is trying to destabilise the state government, he alleged.

Siddaramaiah, on the one hand, is trying to act to pacify the disgruntled MLAs, on the other hand, is trying to add fuel to fire. Amid the political turmoil, the development works have seen a set back in the state. There is instability in the state. Corruption has reached its peak in the state, said Gowda.

“If a coalition government can not carry out administration, then let them tender resignation,” he said.
