Sumalatha's criticism will backfire on coalition: BSY

State BJP President B S Yeddyurappa on Tuesday observed the Congress-JD(S) leaders' statements about Independent candidate from Mandya Lok Sabha seat Sumalatha Ambareesh would backfire on coalition partners.

"Voters are aware of Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy's statement questioning late actor Ambareesh's contributions. Kumaraswamy had praised the actor when the latter was alive. Kumaraswamy is behaving like that as he is convinced of his party's defeat in Mandya," Yeddyurappa said.
