The police arrested two persons on the charges of poaching pangolin, at Hiregadde.
The arrested are Dinesh and Shivappa. Acting on a tip-off, the police raided and arrested the duo. Other accused Ramesh and Ravi are still at large. According to police, the arrested had killed a pangolin weighing 12 kg. A case has been registered against the accused under the Wildlife Protection Act.
