Yeddyurappa transfers 5 IPS officers within 6 hours of oath

Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa transferred five IPS officers, just hours after taking the oath.

Amar Kumar Pandey, ADGP (Railways) and Sandeep Patil, DIG (KSRP) were transferred to the intelligence department.

Hemanth Nimbalkar, IGP (CID), was given additional charge of the intelligence department during the election. His wife Anjali contested as Congress candidate from Khanapur and won the election. Now, his additional charge of the intelligence department has been withdrawn. He continues as IGP (CID).

D Devaraj, Superintendent of Police, Bidar district, is transferred as DCP (central division), Bengaluru city. S Girish, who was SP in Anti-Corruption Bureau, has been transferred as DCP (North-east division), Bengaluru city. K Annamalai, Superintendent of Police, Chikkamagaluru district, has been transferred to Ramanagaram district.
