May 2025: Top smartphones launching this month

In April 2025 , Nothing Inc, Motorola, Vivo, Samsung, iQOO and others introduced CMF Phone 2 Pro , Edge 60 Pro, Vivo T4, Galaxy M56, iQOO Z10 series and many more in India.

This month, OnePlus, Samsung, Motorola and others are expected to bring all-new phones in a wide range of price bands worldwide and in India.

. At the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025 event in Barcelona earlier this year, Samsung showcased the Galaxy S25 Edge, the fourth variant of the S25 series.

So far, the company has launched three devices-- Galaxy S25, S25 Plus and S25 Ultra-- in global markets. This month, the South Korean consumer electronics major is all set to bring the fourth model Galaxy S25 Edge in mid-May.

It is said to come with a super slim body with just 5.84mm thickness. Due to the design limitation, it will have a 3,900mAh battery, but thanks to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Lite chipset, it will be able to deliver a full day of battery life. It will support a 25W charging speed.

. OnePlus 13s is also expected to make its global debut soon including in India. It is said to be a rebranded version of the OnePlus 13T, which was launched in China in April.

The Android flagship phone sports a 6.32-inch 1.5K (2640x1216p) LTPO AMOLED display, supports 1-120Hz refresh rate and offers up to 1,600 nits peak brightness.

OnePlus 13s is said to be protected by Oppo’s propriety Crystal Glass shield and comes with an IP65 dust-and-water-splash resistant rating.

It also features an in-display optical fingerprint sensor, infrared sensor, dual SIM slots (nano + nano).

It is powered by 4nm class 4.32Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite octa-core with 900MHz Adreno 830 GPU, Android-based ColorOS 15 (global Oxygen 15), 12GB / 16GB LPDDR5X RAM with 256GB / 512GB / 1TB (UFS 4.0) storage and a 6,260mAh battery with 80W SuperVOOC technology.

OnePlus 13s is expected to feature a dual-camera module— main 50MP (with 1/1.56-inch IMX906 sensor, f/1.8 aperture, OIS: Optical Image Stabilisation) with a 50MP 2x telephoto camera (with f/2.0, OIS) with LED flash. It can record videos up to 4K at 60 frames per second.

It also boasts of 16MP front camera (ƒ/2.4) and does up to 1080p full HD 30 fps video recording.

. The upcoming Neo 10 series is expected to sport a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display and come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset with big vapour chamber liquid cooling system, Android 15-based FuntouchOS and a 7,000mAh battery with 120W fast charging capability.

It is also said to feature a dual-camera module-- main 50MP camera (with Sony LYT-600 sensor, OIS: Optical Image Stabilisation) and an 8MP ultra-wide camera with LED flash on the back.

And, on the front, it is expected to feature a 16MP camera for selfies and video calling.

. Last month, Motorola launched Razr and Razr Ultra foldable phones in the US. Now, it has confirmed to bring the Razr Ultra called Razr 60 Ultra in India later this month.

It features a 4-inch QuickView pOLED LTPO display with 1272×1080p resolution, 1-165Hz refresh rate and 3,000nits peak brightness. It is protected by Corning's Gorilla Glass Ceramic shield and IP48 water splash-resistant rating. It features a single SIM (+ eSIM), a type-c port, stereo speakers and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

Inside, it flaunts a wide 7-inch FlexView 1.5K (1224×2992p) pOLED LTPO display with 1-165Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision, and offers up to 4,000 nits peak brightness.

The device runs Android 15 OS and is powered by 3nm class Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite octa-core with Adreno 830 GPU, 16GB LPDDR5X RAM, 512GB UFS 4.1 storage, dual-camera module --main 50MP(with f/1.8 aperture, OIS: Optical Image Stabilisation) with 50MP (f/2.0) ultra-wide camera, a 50MP (f/2.0) front camera and a 4,700mAh battery with 68W turbocharger and 30W wireless charging.
