Poco M7 Plus with 7000mAh battery, Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 silicon launched in India

Poco M7 Plus is available in three colours-- carbon black, chrome silver and aqua silver-- with prices starting at Rs 13,999 in India.

Poco on Wednesday (August 13) unveiled the new mid-range phone M7 Plus in India.

The latest Android mobile features a 6.9-inch full HD+ (2340 x 1080p) LCD screen with 144Hz adaptive refresh rate, 91 per cent screen-to-body ratio, and offers up to 550 nits peak brightness.

It is protected by Corning's Gorilla Glass 3 shield and IP64 dust-and-water splash-resistant rating.

The device also comes with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, infrared sensor, a Type-C port, Bluetooth 5.1, Wi-Fi 6 802.11 ac and a hybrid dual SIM tray (nano SIM-1 + nano SIM-2 or microSD card).

The device runs Android 15-based HyperOS and features Qualcomm's 6nm class Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 silicon, which can clock 2.3GHz peak CPU speed, more than enough to run most of the popular graphics-heavy gaming titles available on Google Play Store.

The M7 Plus comes with a 900MHz Adreno 619 GPU, 6GB / 8GB LPDDR4X RAM with 128GB UFS 2.2 storage (expandable up to 1TB) and a 7,000mAh battery with 33W battery and 18W reverse charging capability.

Poco M7 Plus is available in three colours-- carbon black, chrome silver and aqua silver. It comes in two configurations-- 6GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 128GB storage-- for Rs 13,999 and Rs 14,999, respectively on Flipkart.

The new device will be up against Galaxy M36, Redmi 14, Nothing's CMF Phone 1, iQOO Z10x (review), among others.
