Transferred cop yet to report for duty

Local legislator M P Kumaraswamy has said that Circle Inspector of Police M Jagadish, who was transferred from Mudigere to state intelligence wing was yet to report for duty even after 15 days of issue of transfer order.

“His action has led to speculations,” he has said.

In a press release, the MLA stated that Jagadish was serving as Circle Inspector of Police in Mudigere station from the last four years. “There were several complaints against him, including misbehaviour with people and making prejudiced decisions in several cases. He had also failed to prevent illegal activities in the taluk, the statement said.
