‘Covishield’ dispatched from Pune airport in 9 flights

The first consignment of Serum Institute of India's Covid-19 vaccine 'Covishield' dispatched from Pune airport on Jan 12. The Air India, SpiceJet and IndiGo Airlines operated nine flights from Pune with 56.5 lakh doses of the Covid-19 vaccine. Union Civil Aviation Minister, Hardeep Singh Puri said, “Today, Air India, SpiceJet and IndiGo Airlines will operate 9 flights from Pune with 56.5 lakh doses to Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata, Guwahati, Shillong, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Bhubaneswar, Patna, Bengaluru, Lucknow and Chandigarh.”
