Joshimath land subsidence: Demolition work continues

Demolition work continued in Joshimath, Uttarakhand on Sunday owing to the cracks that have appeared in hundreds of homes in the northern state.

Notably, Joshimath has been declared a land subsidence zone by the authorities. More than 600 houses have been identified as unsafe and are being demolished by authorities.
