Karnataka’s Haveri begins preparing to fight 3rd Covid wave

Haveri has become first district in Karnataka to start preparations to fight possible 3rd wave of Covid-19. The government is setting up check-up camps at all PHCs to scan children for any possible disease or malnutrition. These camps will cover 2.7 lakh children and will continue till July 31.

While speaking to ANI, Bommai said: “Haveri in Karnataka has become first district to start preparations to fight against 3rd wave of Covid-19. As we are we're setting up check-up camps at all PHCs to scan children for any possible disease or malnutrition. These camps will cover 2.7 lakh children.”

Bommai also said, “The chief minister of Karnataka B S Yediyurappa and the state health minister Dr K Sudhakar have appreciated this initiative and are planning to implement it across Karnataka. On June 28, I will inaugurate a camp in Udupi."
