'Absolutely untrue': Jennifer Aniston on her 'affair' with Barack Obama amid latter's divorce rumours

Jennifer Aniston has found herself in the middle of the ongoing divorce rumours between Barack, and Michelle Obama with the actor being shipped with the former president.

Amid speculations, an old interview of the actor from Jimmy Kimmel Live! has resurfaced where the interviewer asked her about the rumours of her romance with Obama.

Kimmel showed the actor the cover of a tabloid that had a picture of the two with the headline - 'The Truth About Jen & Barack'.

Visibly at a loss for words, the actor joked saying: "Of all the calls you get from your publicist where you're like, 'Oh no, what's it gonna be?' Or the emails saying some cheesy tabloid's going to make up a story and then it's that(pointing at the magazine) "I was not mad at it."

When the host asked her point black if there was any truth behind the rumours, the actor dismissed it immediately.

"That is absolutely untrue," Anniston said as she proceeded to clarify that she has met the former president only once in her life and knows Michelle Obama more than she knows him.

This comes at a time when social media is filled with speculations that the former president and Michelle Obama are headed for a divorce. These rumours were sparked recently when it was revealed that only Barack Obama would be attending Donald Trump's inauguration ceremony.

Soon after, on Michelle Obama's birthday on January 17 netizens did not appreciate the photo selection of the former president to wish his wife.

"I wish you all the best.. but to post a photo where you two are so far apart and kind of fake smiling, might indicate that the divorce rumors are true.. does anyone agree?" wrote one user while another said, "This is the coldest, least romantic photo I've ever seen online!"
