Putin: Russia and North Korea to continue cooperation under partnership treaty, KCNA says

Seoul: Russian President Vladimir Putin told North Korean leader Kim Jong Un in a message the two countries will continue to implement the comprehensive strategic partnership treaty they signed in June, the North's KCNA news agency reported on Friday.

The treaty signed during Putin's visit to Pyongyang includes a mutual defence pact.
