'BJP leaders must sort out their issues first'

District In-charge Minister Sa Ra Mahesh said BJP leaders should first solve their internal issues, before pointing fingers at others.

Speaking after inaugurating a floriculture and horticulture exhibition organised at Raja Seat in the city on Friday, he took a dig at BJP saying that the BJP leaders predict the fall of the coalition government every now and then. In fact, they are not sure on how many of their MLAs will leave the party. The coalition government will complete its tenure under the leadership of Chief Minister Kumaraswamy, he said.

“The Congress and JD(S) have discussed on the possibility of alliance in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. The senior leaders of both the parties will take a final decision,” he said.

The minister inaugurated a stall, set up by the Department of Information of Public Relations, at Gandhi Maidan. The stall is meant to sensitise people on loan waiver, Badavara Bandhu and other programmes.

A stall by Archaeological Department featured an exhibition of photographs. There are stalls by Agriculture and Horticulture Departments, Coffee Growers’ Association, Stree Shakthi self-help groups, Spice Board, Kodagu Pragathipara Jenukrishi Sahakara Sangha and Swacch Bharat Abhiyan.

The stalls of eatables allured visitors with various dishes, such as ‘Dose’, ‘Vegetable Biryani’, ‘Jolada Rotti’ and fruit juice.
