<p>The ashes of actor and former minister Ambareesh were immersed in River Cauvery at the Sangama on Wednesday. Ambareesh’s son Abhishek Gowda performed all the rituals.</p>.<p>Three urns of ashes were brought to Srirangapatna from Bengaluru. A team of priests performed rituals to the urns on the banks of River Cauvery. Hundreds of people who gathered at the bank, raised slogans on Ambareesh.</p>.<p>Sumalatha Ambareesh, actors Darshan, Doddanna, producers Sandesh Nagaraj, Rockline Venkatesh, Muniratna, director Rajendrasingh Babu and close relatives of the family attended the ceremony.</p>
