While more than 16 people were injured in a bee attack at Hirisave on Tuesday, 12 people were injured when a swarm of bees attacked them at Hebbalu village in Belur taluk, on Wednesday.
The injured have been admitted to the government hospital in Belur for treatment.
It is said that the people had gathered for a post-death ceremony at a field in the village when the bees attacked them. More than 12 people suffered bee stings.
Krishnamurthy of the village has received more than 50 stings and is in a serious condition, according to the doctors.
