Adulteration of milk: Headmaster suspended

Ashok, who is serving as headmaster in the Government Lower Primary School in Niguvagilu village in Koppa taluk, was placed under suspension in connection with the incident wherein 18 students from the school fell ill after consuming milk adulterated with urea.

DDPI C Prasanna Kumar said notices had been served to four teachers after the students fell ill. All the teachers had responded to the notices. The headmaster was suspended on September 25. Hariharapura police are investigating the case.
