Graduates from any stream are eligible for admission to a three-year LLB course. Once you complete BCom, you can apply to any of the colleges that offer this three-year degree option. The latest list will be available from Karnataka State Law University, but colleges that have made a name for themselves include Seshadripuram, BILS, University Law College of BU, KLE, etc.
Do be aware that you will have a slight disadvantage compared to those who directly join a five-year BA, LLB or a BCom, LLB course as they get a deeper understanding right from the first year. Also, some of the law firms prefer to give employment only to those who have done the five-year course. Check out your future plan after completion of your law course as to how you will take your career ahead.

My daughter is studying in Class 11 and would be writing NEET next year. She is more interested in research, what are the options for her to pursue MBBS after Class 12? Can you please suggest universities and other options available.

If she is keen on first becoming a doctor, then obviously she will have to clear the NEET exam and complete the five-and-a-half-year MBBS course. She can then pursue research at the postgraduate level. Other options would be to take up a degree course or an integrated MSc programme in Life Sciences.
The most reputed institutions for these courses are IISERs, NISERs, IISc, etc., for which, entry is through the KVPY (Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojna) exam held in November every year. She can appear for the exam while studying at Class 12 level. Research in Medicine can be done if she takes up a six-year PharmD course, which is being offered by many reputed universities.
It will be good if she can narrow down the field she would like to do a research on so that she can aim towards a course in that subject.

You are already a physician with a specialisation. Consider all options in terms of long-term career before studying further. If you are clear that you would like to be in health management, then you can go for a Masters in Hospital Administration course offered by many reputed institutions.
Employers generally prefer those who have done a full-time classroom-based course since management is a very hands-on and practical field. You can check out from some of the reputed institutions mentioned below:

Note that a BSc in the subjects you have mentioned above is a good foundation for you to move into professional higher studies, but by themselves do not make you a professional. You may only get jobs at a very basic level without much chance of promotions.
Each of the fields you have mentioned is steady and in demand, but only for those who have advanced qualifications from reputed institutions. Plan out what work appeals to you most – research, teaching, product development, quality control, documentation etc., and accordingly go for the studies.
Salary package, in all careers, depend entirely on your capabilities and what you can offer to the employer, and cannot be guaranteed just by the acquisition of a degree.

My son has completed Class 10 is interested in
Architecture and wants to take an admission in BArch. I know that NATA is compulsory for B Arch.
My doubt is whether he can pursue BArch directly or is there any mandate that he has to complete Class 12 or PUC?

Dear Mahesh,
To be a qualified architect who can get a licence to practice from the Council of Architecture, the minimum qualification is a five-year Bachelor of Architecture (B Arch) degree.
Admission to BArch is open to those who have completed their Class 12 or PUC with Math and Science and is based on the National Aptitude Test for Architecture (NATA).
A diploma in architecture would only get him a job as an assistant in an architecture firm doing mostly a ‘drafting’ work. Doing PUC after his diploma will not give him any advantage.
