'Allow Shakhadri to lead Uroos'

Muharram-Ul-Haram Mujawar Samithi members appealed Deputy Commissioner Bagadi Gautham to allow Uroos under the leadership of Hazarath Sayyed Gause Mohiyuddin Shakhadri at Guru Dattatreya Bababudan Swamy Dargah.

They said the High Court has asked to observe Uroos as per the tradition that was followed in 1947 at Guru Dattatreya Bababudan Swamy Dargah. Accordingly, religious rituals should be allowed under the guidance of Shakhadri, they appealed.

They urged the deputy commissioner to issue them permission to apply sandal paste on the tombs in the Dargah. The DC promised to look into the appeal.

Samithi president Vajeer Ahmmed, vice president Sayyed Naseer and others were present.
