Delhi’s Honey Baisoya, a Category B (U-15) player, replaced Ashbeer Singh Saini in the second place after a round of 74 and is two strokes behind the leader at 12-over 225. Kapurthala’s Ashbeer Saini slipped to third place after a disappointing seven-over 78, three shots behind Baisoya.
Meanwhile, Rashid Khan continued his title march but second ranked Gagan Verma fell by the wayside after the second round of the LG Goodricke Eastern India Amateur golf tournament at Kolkata on Thursday.
Pawan Kumar upset Gagan, 5&3 while Rashid defeated Abhijit Chadha 3&2.
