Delhi Rains: Heavy downpour throws daily life into disarray in capital

The national capital received torrential rains on weekends leading to waterlogging, flash floods, house collapses and human fatalities. On July 09, Delhi recorded 153 mm of rain in 24 hours ending 08.30 am, the highest in a single day in July since 1982. Visuals of water-logged roads, commuters wading through knee-deep water are being widely shared on social media. In view of the torrential rains, all the schools will remain closed on July 10 in Delhi and its neighbouring areas. Here's how Delhi-NCR looked in the last three days of showering.
