<p>The opposition to the Ahmedabad-Mumbai bullet train project, besides Nanar mega refinery and Jaitapur nuclear power project in coastal Konkan region, would continue, Shiv Sena President Uddhav Thackeray said.</p>.<p>"Bullet train for whom...how fast you would travel in that," Thackeray said opposing the pet project of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. </p>.<p>In an interview to Shiv Sena Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Raut on the eve of his 59th birthday, Uddhav spoke on a wide range of issues. </p>.<p>The first part of the three-part interview was published in the Sena's Marathi mouthpiece 'Saamana' and its Hindi tabloid version 'Dophar ka Saamana' besides being webcast on www.saamana.com.</p>.<p>"First they took the diamond market to Gujarat, then Air India (to New Delhi)...how many people from Mumbai need a bullet train to Ahmedabad...instead connect Mumbai to Nagpur," Uddhav said. </p>.<p>The Sena chief said the Jaitapur Nuclear Power Project (JNPP) at Madban and the West Coast Refinery and Petrochemicals Ltd (WCRP) at Nanar - both in Rajapur tehsil of Ratnagiri district - are not required for the state.</p>.<p>"These projects would damage the environment of Konkan Maharashtra," he said.</p>
