Two more with links to Bangladeshi terror group held

Widening its investigation into the logistical support provided to Bangladesh-based terror network Ansarullah Bangla Team (ABT), the Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) of Maharashtra arrested two more people from Mumbai and Raigad district.

On Saturday, the Pune ATS unit had arrested three people from Pune, where several military installations and units are located.

On Monday, one person was arrested from Ambernath in Thane district and the other was arrested Mahad in Raigad district.

Both of them are Bangladeshis. "During an investigation of these two suspects, it was found that the duo were involved in providing logistical support to the ABT, that is banned in Bangladesh," an ATS official said, adding that they obtained a PAN and Aadhaar card fraudently.

Both of them belong to Shasha in Jessore district of Bangladesh.
