Byndoor rly station to get better infra

Shimoga MP B Y Raghavendra has promised to upgrade Byndoor railway station with better infrastructural amenities.

"I will ensure that passengers will receive more facilities in Byndoor railway station," he said after inaugurating ‘Jana Samparka’ meeting and his office in Byndoor on Thursday.

On the issues related to National Highway in Byndoor, the MP said that he would hold discussions with officials of National Highway Authority of India (NHAI). "A multi village drinking water supply scheme in Byndoor and the break water project in Maravanthe will be implemented at the earliest."

Patients who have enrolled under Ayushman Bharath Health Care Scheme should not be denied treatment at hospitals and the district health officer should take necessary action to implement the scheme, he said.

"A proposal has been submitted to state government to build a government hospital in Byndoor taluk. The hospital should have a dialysis machine," he added.

The MP said officials in the department concerned should expedite the work to identify land for construction of crematoriums. The land for housing schemes should be immediately approved, he said.
