Aero assembly unit comes up in Karnataka

 Quest Global Manufacturing Private Limited and Saab AB, Sweden inaugurated their new facility Aerostructures Assemblies India Private Limited (AAI) dedicated to the manufacture and supply of aerostructure assemblies for the commercial aerospace market at Hattargi near here on Thursday.

AAI is a joint venture between Quest Global and Saab AB with each company holding 74 per cent and 26 per cent stake respectively. AAI is located here where Quest Global has developed fully operational special economic zone (SEZ), which also houses Quest Global Manufacturing.

Quest Global Chairman and CEO Aravind Melligeri said, the facility has come to fruition in less than a year of inking the agreement and would facilitate to increase value addition in aerospace industry.

Globally competitive Indian workforce would provide cost efficient and reliable solutions by virtue of it being established in the Quest Global SEZ, a self-sustaining aerospace ecosystem.
