Altera, RV-VLSI to set up new innovation lab

Briefing reporters, RV-VLSI CEO S Venkatesh Prasad said “the innovation lab will promote the use of advanced design practices among corporates, academic research institutions and students, fostering an ecosystem for product creation, enhancing job opportunities for IT professionals, and familiarising Altera products to Indian customers.”

Altera and RV-VLSI entered into a MoU to facilitate setting up of labs to promote research, faculty enrichment and skill upgrading of students and recognising RV-VLSI as preferred training partner for Altera’s Indian customers on the company products. The embeded software trainning programmes vary between three days to three months and fee starts from Rs 1,250.
