Chandrasekaran is new TCS CEO

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), on Tuesday, witnessed a smooth transition process with S Ramadorai – who was at the helm for 13 years – stepping down as CEO and handing over the baton to his successor N Chandrasekaran.

Briefing reporters, Chandrasekaran said to begin with TCS’ focus would be on non-linear growth would continue and the leadership team will soon announce a vision statement to outline what services it will add going forward.   On the tough times IT sector had to face during the global financial crisis, he said “we have had our share of challenges in these times. All the same, now see ourselves in recovery mode going forward.”
