Just Eat Takeaway sees nearly 40% jump in 2024 core profit

Just Eat Takeaway on Wednesday forecast a nearly 40 per cent jump in its 2024 adjusted core earnings, ahead of expectations, citing strong momentum in its key British and Irish markets and good performance in other segments.

Europe's biggest food delivery company by revenue sees adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) of about 450 million euros ($487 million) for the current year, while analysts polled by LSEG were expecting 398 million euros.
