<p>New Delhi: French automaker Renault Group on Monday announced the appointment of Stephane Deblaise as Chief Executive Officer, Indian operations, effective September 1, 2025.</p>.<p>In the role, he will be responsible for defining and executing the group’s strategy in India, the automaker said in a statement.</p>.<p>All Renault Group entities in the country will report to him, it added.</p>.<p>Deblaise will report directly to Francois Provost, Renault Group Chief of Procurement, Partnerships and Public Affairs Officer.</p>.Renault chairman Senard to step down from Nissan's board.<p>Since 2022, Deblaise has served as CEO of Renault Korea, where he led key transformation initiatives, including positioning the company as a global development and production hub for mid-and large-sized vehicles and modernising the Busan plant for multi-energy vehicle production, the automaker stated.</p>.<p>In addition to his current responsibilities as Managing Director of Renault India Pvt Ltd (RIPL), Venkatram Mamillapalle will support Deblaise on corporate affairs in India to help structure the Group’s mid-term growth strategy in the region, it added.</p>.<p>Deblaise’s appointment to Renault Group India reflects the Group’s strong confidence in his leadership and underlines the strategic importance of India as a key pillar in Renault’s global growth ambitions, the automaker said.
