<p>Bengaluru: IT bellwether <a href="https://www.deccanherald.com/tags/tata-consultancy-services">Tata Consultancy Services (TCS)</a> received an add-on advance purchase order (APO) for Rs 2,903.22 crore inclusive of taxes from Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), the company said in an exchange filing. </p><p>The deal will involve TCS looking at planning, engineering, supply, installation, testing, commissioning and annual maintenance of 4G mobile network at 18,685 sites of BSNL. </p><p>“Detailed purchase orders will be issued by BSNL to the company in due course subject to fulfilment of certain conditions and documentation as mentioned in the APO,” the company added. </p><p>It may be remembered that TCS signed a Rs 15,000 crore deal with BSNL for establishing data centres and 4G sites last year in June. However, this deal is 70% complete, TCS’ Chief Executive Officer K Krithivasan said during an earnings call earlier this year. </p>
