<p>Bengaluru: Only Rs 60.62 crore has been spent since financial year 2022-23 (FY23) by the Union Ministry of Civil Aviation as per their product-linked incentive (PLI) for drones and drone components despite the amount allocated being Rs 120 crore, said Minister of State in the Ministry of Civil Aviation Murlidhar Mohol on Monday in response to a question raised in Rajya Sabha.</p>.<p>In September 2021, the total outlay in the PLI was notified as Rs 120 crore over three financial years.</p>.Centre plans new PLI scheme for drones sector.<p>Till date, amounts of approximately Rs 29.43 crore, Rs 28.76 crore and Rs 2.43 crore have been disbursed during FY23, FY24, and the current FY25 respectively, as an incentive under the scheme.</p>.<p>Responding to another query raised about a reported Rs 3,000 crore being proposed for the drone makers, he said there was no such plan afoot. This, even as the timeframe for the previous PLI scheme has ended and there have been plans announced for a new scheme.</p>
