India expects hit of 0.2-0.3% to GDP growth estimates from US tariffs & tax reform

The net impact of US tariffs on India and the country's recent consumption tax reforms will be a reduction of 0.2-0.3 per cent on fiscal year 2026 GDP growth estimates, currently anticipated to be between 6.3 per cent and 6.8 per cent, its chief economic adviser said on Wednesday.
