ShopsUp draws focus to offline shopping

ShopsUp, a location-based app, has announced its entry into the market to make shopping more rewarding for customers. It acts as a platfrom to discover stores and rewards points to users based shopping frequency. 

“Indian millennials want to be rewarded for their window shopping as well as actual shopping behaviour, and marketers want to capture these moments as and when they happen. ShopsUp’s innovative technology and use of analytics allow us to partner with top brands and local boutiques and provide them with customised solutions that dramatically differ from existing options” said Suhas Gopinath, Co-founder and CEO, ShopsUp.

The company has raised a seed round of $1 million from investors, including Anand Sankeshwar, MD at VRL Logistics and Yang Shu, former Huawei Technologies President and CEO of Taojinjia.
