Symantec & Wipro join hands for new service

The companies have decided to pool together their respective technology and domain expertise to create the service.

Briefing reporters, Symantec India Channels & Alliances Director Ajay Verma with its team of experts — particularly in areas such as data centre and networking — Wipro would provide assessment, consultancy and implementation of DLP solutions. Based on Symantec’s DLP solutions, the services will be based on a prioritised, risk-based approach.

Wipro Infotech Infrastructure Technology Solutions Division Business Head Vikas Srivastava, said our technology team look for forging partnerships with vendors like Symantec. Given the demand for DLP services, we believe this would be a game changer for both Wipro and Symantec.

Vikas said the offering from Wipro will be unique.
