Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman tabled the much-anticipated Union Budget for FY26 in the Lok Sabha on February 1. This is a record eighth Budget for the Finance Minister, who, incidentally, also holds the record for the longest Budget speech in India's history.

Talking about education, Waseem Javed, Founder & CEO, EduVib said, "The commitment by the government towards improving the quality of education in India, particularly in terms of globalisation and innovation, is well reflected in this year's budget announcement. The proposal for setting up 50,000 Atal Tinkering Labs across government schools will cultivate curiosity and innovation among young minds to create a talent pool ready to compete globally.
