Cauvery Theerthodbhava

Cauvery Theerthodbhava will take place at Talacauvery, the birthplace of River Cauvery, at 6.43 pm on October 17. River Cauvery emerges at Talacauvery, situated on the foot of Brahmagiri Hill in the auspicious Mesha Lagna on Tula Sankramana Day. Village leaders, Takka Head of Talacauvery Kshetra and managing committee members announced the time of Theerthodbhava at a meet on Tuesday night.

Religious rituals will be conducted prior to Theerthodbhava. Tula Sankramana fair will be started by pouring rice into ‘Pattaya’ vessel at Bhagandeshwara Temple in Bhagamandala at 7.17 am on September 27.
