Home Minister M B Patil observed that the Union Government also has to bring amendments to some laws, to more efficiently trace those who upload anti-national posts on social media, and to take stern action against them.
"A meeting of senior police officials is already conducted, to discuss the issue of miscreants who use social media platform for expressing anti-national and pro-Pakistan views. We take it very seriously and will take stringent action. WhatsApp is cooperating with us, but the response from Facebook and Twitter is not as expected," he said.
Patil told media persons here on Thursday that Pakistan is a rogue and terrorist country, while terrorism itself seems to be the main industry there.
All countries should isolate Pakistan, by snapping all relations with it, as Pakstan government itself is controlled by extremists. Including the prime minister, nobody should play politics in the efforts to make Pakistan isolated at the global level, Patil added.
