2.5k students offered internships at drive

At least thousand candidates attended an internship and job drive event organised at the St Joseph’s college, in Shanthinagar on Saturday.

The two-day drive focused on educating and bringing candidates of various streams under one roof.

More than 80 participating companies at the event offered internships to 2,500 students.

"The internship will be offered for a span of 1-3 months. At the drive, students will take a written examination and attend an interview. The final candidates will be selected as well and placed and they will face their last round of interviews at the company," said Hiranmayee, HR officer of a private company.
