JOIN USAzim Premji University has announced admissions to its full-time, residential undergraduate programmes based in Bengaluru. The programmes are BSc in physics, biology or mathematics and BA degree in economics or humanities.
Students will get to study interdisciplinary areas like sustainability, development, education and media etc. They can also pursue an honours degree by taking up additional research and projects.
In the four-year dual degree in science and education, students can choose from physical sciences, life sciences or mathematics. Along with deep disciplinary knowledge in sciences and mathematics, the dual degree professional programme builds perspectives in education and skills to teach effectively through a strong field practice component.
Students can apply on the university’s website. Applicants will be selected based on a written test and personal interview for shortlisted students.
The undergraduate programme has two admissions windows. Applications for early admissions close on December 5 followed by an entrance test on December 16. The personal interview and offer of admission will be in January 2019. Applications for regular admissions close in April 2019 with the entrance test and interviews scheduled for May 2019. SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test) scores are also considered for admissions.
