Alongside the citizens' movement to reclaim footpaths from encroachers, BBMP officials on Saturday undertook an eviction drive in Hoodi subdivision of Mahadevapura Zone.
Starting from the Hoodi sub-division circle to Shantiniketan on ITPL main road, 16 temporary shops and commercial establishments were evicted.
Chief Engineer, Mahadevapura Zone, R L Parameshwaraiah said they will hold eviction drives regularly to remove encroachment of footpaths.
