The cyber crime police have arrested two managers of a private bank for filming intimate moments of their friend with a woman and using it to blackmail him.

The arrested suspects are Abhishek Kumar Jha (24), a resident of Murugeshpalaya and a native of Darbhanga in Bihar and his friend Gaurav Choudhari (26), a resident of Hongasandra and a native of Uttar Pradesh, the police said.

The sleuths tracked the accused through the IP address and arrested them.

According to the police, Abhishek is a deputy manager with the Kotak Mahindra Bank, Girinagar branch. Gourav is a deputy manager with the Bommansandra branch. The suspects are close friends of the victim, who is a private firm employee, and they used to visit him regularly.

Recently, the duo had secretly placed a mobile phone on record mode in the victim’s house and filmed his intimate moments with a woman.

The suspects later created an Instagram account with the title “baby ur gone” and posted the screenshot of the video clipping to his Instagram account on Thursday. They then under fake names began to blackmail the victim demanding expensive i-phones and threatened to send the video clip to the victim’s family and relatives if their demands were not met.

Unable to bear with the harassment, the victim lodged a police complaint. Abhishek and Gourav have been booked under various sections of the Information Technology Act.
