Eve-teaser gangs up with five to kill girl’s brother

A woman is among six people arrested for killing a man after he fought with them for misbehaving with his sister.

Murugesh, the prime suspect, had allegedly misbehaved with the sister of 24-year-old Manjunath who then assaulted him in revenge. Murugesh held a grudge against Manjunath and ganged up with five people, including one Shashikala, from Pantharapalya, to kill him. On November 22, the gang attacked Manjunath with lethal weapons when he was sleeping in his uncle’s house in Ambedkar Nagar, Byatarayanapura. Manjunath died later, a senior police officer said.

The four other suspects are Vijayakumar, from Pantharapalya, Sachin, from Doddagollarahatti near Magadi Main Road, and Harish Sudhan, Lurdu Leenas, both from KGF.
