Several organisations in the City will hold a host of events to mark the Independence Day on Friday.
Bangalore RD350 Club and Bikers of India are organising the sixth annual Independence Day ride wherein over 1,000 bikers from reputed biking clubs will come together to salute India’s great freedom fighters and ride to Nandi Hills, where the National Flag will be hoisted.
Bikers aged between 21 and 82 will be paying respects to the martyrs.
Round Table India will initiate a Freedom Drive Signature campaign starting at Cubbon Park, near Chief Minister’s residence, Forum Mall at Koramangala, UB City.
The flag-off will be done by former Miss Earth 2010 and actress Nicole Faria at Fountain Square, Cubbon Park.
