<p>Three traffic policemen are in the dock for reportedly manhandling a food delivery boy, who was riding a new food delivery scooter without number plate and valid documents in KG Halli on Friday.</p>.<p class="bodytext">The delivery boy, Harish Kumar, works for the online food delivery portal Swiggy and was riding his new scooter to deliver a food parcel for a customer in Sultanpalaya.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Around 1.30 pm, while he was in Veerannapalaya, near Manyata Tech Park, a team of traffic policemen attached to KG Halli traffic police station flagged him down.</p>.<p class="bodytext">ASI Raghavendra and three other constables asked for the vehicle documents while Kumar said that it was a new vehicle and showed the bill and other documents.</p>.<p class="bodytext">However, he did not have registration certificate or insurance.</p>.<p class="bodytext">He was issued a notice and asked to pay a fine at the court which he refused to accept. The policemen then told him to leave his bike and get it released after paying the entire amount.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Kumar started to video record the happenings which irked the policemen, who then roughed him up.</p>.<p class="bodytext">A video clip of the happenings was posted on the social media which went viral.</p>.<p class="bodytext">“We had only issued a notice to him for which he was unwilling to accept and created a ruckus by videographing our men,” said a senior police officer.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Kumar is contemplating to lodge a complaint against the high-handedness of the policemen.</p>
